How did the idea for the 2022 Astrological Planner come about?
At the beginning of 2021, I decided to launch a course that would reclaim the power of the feminine in Astrology. This power — now represented by the asteroids Vesta, Pallas, Juno, and Ceres (which are still not widely used by astrologers) — is symbolic of the collective struggle for a different place for the feminine in society. It speaks to everything from a man’s right to be sensitive to a woman’s right to hold high-level executive positions, to not wanting to have children, and beyond.
As I dove into Greek mythology to prepare this course — which was an incredible experience! — I fell in love with the stories of these women. Often sidelined in the myths of gods like Jupiter (Zeus), Saturn (Cronus), and Pluto (Hades), they still play powerful roles. With the exception of the Moon and Venus, all signs are represented by male gods. I thought: It’s true, each sign is represented by a Greek god — but what if we told the story of a woman directly associated with that sign, one who in some way enabled his rise to power?
So I decided to shake things up a bit. In this Planner, I share the stories of the goddesses who, in one way or another, helped those gods become who they are.
This is a Planner designed to reclaim the power of the feminine in Astrology — and to help you reclaim your own personal power.
At the beginning of each zodiac sign section, you’ll find the image of a goddess who is, in some way, connected to the ruling god of that sign. And if you scan the QR code included in the Planner, you’ll be taken to an exclusive playlist I created on my YouTube channel — available only to those who purchase the Planner. There, I share in detail the stories of each of the goddesses featured in this project.
The idea is this: we can’t truly empower ourselves without understanding the myths and stories that shaped the societal structure we live in today. How was the patriarchy established? How do myths shape the role of women and the feminine in society? If we don’t know how we got here, how can we change and empower ourselves moving forward?
Oh, one more thing: this Planner doesn’t follow the calendar year — it follows the zodiac signs. That means it begins on the first day of Capricorn in 2021 and ends on the last day of Capricorn in 2023. You’re getting 13 full months!
