MAIN TOPICS OF THE COMPLETE ASTROLOGY TRAINING COURSE
Astrology is a self-knowledge tool that uses the positioning of the stars to interpret potential, patterns and challenges in a person's life. It is not about predicting the future, but about helping people make decisions with greater clarity and awareness.
On the other hand, astrology is not magic, nor is it an exact science . It does not define your life or label people just by their sign. Each astrological chart is unique and full of nuances.
The healthy use of astrology is as a guide to personal understanding . However, abuse occurs when it is used in a rigid, fatalistic way or to justify prejudices.
Finally, between destiny and free will , astrology shows trends, but the choices are always yours. You are the one who writes your story based on the possibilities that the map reveals.
The astral chart is a circle divided into 360 degrees , where the positioning, distribution, signs and aspects of the planets represent the sky at the time of birth.
Degree : Indicates the exact position of each planet in each sign in your birth chart and marks the beginning of each house, which represents areas of life. The signs have 30 degrees each within the astrological mandala.
Sign : Indicates how each planet manifests itself. For example, Mars (planet of action) in the sign of Leo has very different reasons - and ways - for acting than Mars in Pisces.
House : Shows in which area of life the energy of each planet is expressed. Each house governs areas such as relationships, work, family, values, etc.
Aspect : These are the connections (or dialogues) between planets . They show whether the planetary energies are flowing in a harmonious way (trine, sextile and some conjunctions) or challenging (square, opposition and some conjunctions).
In short: 👉 Sign tells you how the energy manifests itself. 👉 House shows where it appears in your life. 👉 Aspect indicates how the planets interact with each other.
Together, these elements form a complete portrait of your personality with its challenges and talents .
Tropical : Based on the cycle of the seasons. It is the most widely used in the West and focuses on psychological, personality and self-development issues. The emphasis is on human behavior, internal motivations and the personal journey.
Vedic : Uses the sidereal zodiac, which is based on the actual positioning of the planets in the sky, taking into account the precession of the equinoxes (a slow oscillation of the Earth's axis that causes the constellations to "shift" over time in relation to the tropical zodiac). It is more oriented towards karmic and predictive issues, seeking to understand the individual's destiny and the effects of past actions (karma) on the current life. There is a strong focus on predictions and planetary periods (Dasha).
Both are valid systems, with different but complementary approaches. The choice between one or the other depends on the goals and preferences of the practitioner or client, as well as the cultural context in which astrology is applied.
Natal Chart: Photograph of the sky at the moment of birth; basis for personality and potentials.
Solar Revolution : Chart generated for the moment when the Sun returns to the degree and minute it was at birth, which brings trends for the next year.
Transits: Movement of the planets in the sky in relation to your natal chart, which activates different energies and indicates periods of change.
Progressions: Symbolic evolution of the natal chart over time.
Mundane Astrology: Study of collective and political events.
Horary Astrology : Astrology that uses the current sky to answer specific questions.
Synastry: Comparison of two charts to analyze relationships.
Composite Chart: Creating a single chart that reflects the joint dynamics of two or more individuals and assesses the relationship as a separate entity.
Traditional : Emphasizes ancient methods, such as dignities and classical rules, focusing on prediction and determinism. Works with the planets from the Sun to Saturn.
Modern : It has a psychological and self-knowledge approach, incorporating recent discoveries and more subjective aspects. It works with planets up to Pluto and allows the incorporation of asteroids, Lilith, etc.
Movement of Celestial Bodies : The Earth and the planets orbit the Sun, each at a specific speed and trajectory.
Rotation and Translation : The Earth's daily rotation (rotation) and its annual revolution around the Sun (translation) influence seasons and cycles.
Precession of the Equinoxes : Slight oscillation of the Earth's axis that gradually changes the apparent position of the constellations over the centuries.
● Lack : When an element (Fire, Earth, Air, Water) or mode (Cardinal, Fixed, Mutable) does not appear, it is poorly represented in the map, indicating deficiencies or challenges.
● Emphasis : Overloading of planets or angles in a certain element or mode that create a dominant pattern of behavior and energy.
● House Systems : Placidus, Koch, Equal, among others, divide the map in different ways.
● General Meanings : Each house addresses areas such as family, career and relationships.
● Classifications : Angular (1, 4, 7, 10), Succeeding (2, 5, 8, 11) and Falling (3, 6, 9, 12).
● Angles : Ascendant, Imum Coeli, Descendant and Midheaven are key points in the chart.
● Planets without aspects : They can function in a muted or intensified way, but they are restricted to the area of life where they are located.
● Retrograde planets : Represent difficulty in manifesting the planet's energy or a slower pace of expression. It is only relevant when it involves Mercury, Mars or Venus.
● Mutual disposition : When two planets are in each other's sign, which facilitates their interaction.
